About three in 10 Horizon Hills homeowners are Singaporeans, making them the second-largest group of buyers after Malaysians.
From young families to retirees, some Singaporeans are seeing Horizon Hills not just as a property purchase, but as a lifestyle upgrade.
Horizon Hills is a 1,200 acres freehold mix-development township in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
It prides itself on being Johor’s safest and most prestigious township, which perhaps adds to its draw among Singaporeans and expats.
It’s also just a stone throw away from Tuas Second Link Highway and has direct access to Coastal Highway Southern Link.

Who are your neighbours?
Yes, amenities are important but one’s living experience is often shaped by the community in the area too.
According to Horizon Hills, 60 per cent of the homebuyers are Malaysian professionals, 30 per cent are Singaporean families while 10 per cent are other expatriates.
One can expect a “cosmopolitan yet close-knit neighbourhood”, a Horizon Hills spokesperson shared.
The Singaporean homebuyers are mostly work professionals or young families in their 30s to 50s.
While there’s a mix of both male and female buyers, they were mostly couples that made a joint purchase.
“We also see retirees downsizing in Singapore and moving here for more space, greenery, and lifestyle,” a Horizon Hills spokesperson told Mothership.
